White-Tailed Deer Falling Asleep

$185 per series

A white-tailed doe tentatively entered this patch of New England woods, circling, browsing, and investigating scents, until she felt safe enough to settle down upon this bed of pine needles.  For twenty minutes more, she turned her head and cocked her ears, slowly relaxing into the rhythmic chewing of her cud, until she eventually fell asleep.

Each of these photographs are selected from raw video footage taken from a moment in time of a wild animal’s life.  Each is printed and then hand-mounted on a 5″x7″ photo block. They can be hung as a series on a wall (horizontally , vertically or in any configuration) or displayed on a shelf or desk.
